Background Queue Processors

A background queue processor performs a sequence of predefined background operations. The following three background queue processors are supported by SmartComm:

Workflow Queues Processor

The workflow queue manages the records in SmartSolve which have reviews or approvals attached. The following records in SmartSolve are managed by the workflow queue:

 

  • Audit Management/SmartAudit - Audit and Criteria records
  • NC and CAPA Management/SmartCAPA - Issue records
  • Complaint Management/SmartComplaints - Issue records
  • Document and Change Management/SmartDoc - Document and Change Order records
  • Training Management/SmartTrain - Person records
Escalation Queues Processor

The escalation queue manages the records in SmartSolve which utilize Escalation Policies in SmartSolve. The following operations in SmartSolve use the escalation queue:

  • Audit Management/SmartAudit - Audit and Criteria Reviews
  • NC and CAPA Management/SmartCAPA - Issue Reviews and Task Approvals
  • Complaint Management/SmartComplaints - Issue Reviews and Task Approvals
  • Document and Change Management/SmartDoc - Document Reviews and Change Order Approvals
  • Training Management/SmartTrain - Person Reviews
Activation | Deactivate Queues Processor (SmartTrain only)

The Activation | Deactivation queue manages the records in Training Management/SmartTrain which are activated and deactivated. The following operations in Training Management/SmartTrain use the activation | deactivation queue:

  • Position Activation | Deactivation
  • Role Activation | Deactivation
  • Requirement Activation | Deactivation
  • Person (Actor) Activation | Deactivation
