Layout and Data Properties

Report designers can create reports that visually display as they are defined using Layout and Data Model Controls. These controls can be configured to fit your business process requirements by defining properties that determine the layout of the report.

SmartInsight reports are made up of the following controls:

Report Design Layout Controls (i.e., Group Sections, Charts, Data Columns, etc.)
Filter and Sort Controls
Data (Model) Controls

Controls have various properties that determine the behavior of the report and how the end user interacts with the report once it is saved.
