Adding Chart Values

Chart values can be used to reflect multiple threshold values.

Example Chart with Threshold Values

Follow the steps below to configure charts for displaying threshold values:

1. Access the SmartInsight Designer.
2. Open an existing report or create a new report.
3. Drag and drop the Chart Value object from the Design tab located on the right side of the window, to the Chart section of the Design canvas.
   Result: The Chart object now displays in the Chart section in the Design canvas.
4. Click the Value(y) object just placed in the Chart section of the canvas.
   Result: The Properties dialog for the Chart Value object is displayed in the Design panel located on the right side of the window

5. Click the drop down arrow in the DataMember field and select the data value to be charted.
   Result: The DataMember field displays the selected value.
6. Click the drop down arrow in the Value field, and select the value type.
7. Set any other applicable properties.
   
8. Save the report by selecting Report > Save from the main menu.
