Configuring Entity Identifiers

The Identifier column displays the primary key associated with the entity. The default value is most likely displayed in the column.

Follow the steps below to configure a unique alias:

1. Access the Report Model Designer.
2. Select Setup > Report Model from the SmartInsight Designer main menu.
   Result: The SmartInsight Model Designer window is displayed.
3. Open an Existing Data Model.

4. Double click the identifier to be renamed.
   Result: A drop down list displays the available identifiers.

5. Select the identifier to be linked to the associated entity.
6. Click Report Model > Save to save your work.
